YEAR 2020 may have been filled with unexpected world health problem and a lot of disasters that caused stress to everyone. For Feng Shui Queen Marites Allen, year 2021 should be “a year of rebuilding oneself.” Allen sees the Year of the Metal Ox as a period that requires new strategies not just to survive, but more importantly, to thrive.

She points out that “during challenging times, many of us just wish to get over and survive but for her, while it is normal to continue striving despite the difficulties, the determination to thrive is even more important because it is an expression of the will to grow and prosper, to direct our own fortune, and flourish even in times when everything is uncertain.”

An advocate of feng shui for almost two decades in the Philippines and internationally, Allen is the first Filipina to be awarded the prestigious title of “Master in Feng Shui” by the International Feng Shui Association in 2013.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, she continues to thrive by developing her Frigga Charmed Life products. Currently based in London, feng shui master Allen also held her most-awaited 16th Feng Shui Convention to welcome the Year of the Metal Ox. It was successfully conducted online in London and was streamed live in Manila, Tokyo, Sydney, New Zealand, Qatar, UAE, and other European cities on December 19, 2020 with special guest Dr. Boy Abunda.

According to Allen, “With people spending more time at home, my online consultations have doubled; so yes, I have been much busier than ever. “This only shows that even during difficult times, there could be good things to look forward to, and so I see the coming year as a period for welcoming and adapting to change and of having renewed vigor and confidence that things will be better,” she added.

Allen considers year 2021 as the year of the vaccine, a time to slowly rebuild oneself especially in health and career or wealth, the Feng Shui expert advised.

“Life, post-Covid, requires making peace with uncertainties but being ready with ingenious preparations and plans of actions,” she said.

Allen particularly said that business related to IT, big technologies, renewable energy, e-commerce, bitcoin and cryptocurrency, health care, as well as travel and health stocks will trend in 2021.

She also added that business in electric car sales would be good. “It grew by 43 percent in sales during the pandemic, thus demand for industrial use of silver will also increase year after year. It is forecasted that by 2030, electric cars will dominate and car companies will have to catch up with the change or else face bankruptcy in the years to come.”

She said, those under the animal signs like rabbit, ox, tiger, horse, snake, monkey and rooster could expect a more favorable year while those born in the years of the rat, boar, sheep, dog and dragon could be more challenged.
