In Chinese astrology, 2025 is designated as the Year of the Wood Snake. Each year brings different energies for the 12 zodiac signs, and some signs will have more luck than others.

“It’s going to be arriving quite early. It’s going to be on January 29, 2025. So, while you have to make some preparations, it’s also important to disseminate information to the public,” feng shui master Marites Allen told select media, including GMANetwork.com, in an intimate luncheon last week at Van Gogh is Bipolar restaurant in Maginhawa, Quezon City.

During this gathering, Allen gave interesting teasers on the luck prospects for each Chinese zodiac sign, among many other insights for 2025.

“The superstars for 2025, if you do your feng shui right, are those who are born in the year of the Monkey because it is the best friend of the snake. The Monkey will also have the so-called wealth star for the year. Parang double ang kaniyang luck (Its luck is double),” she said.

She continued, “Another sign that has a very good forecast are those who are born in the year of the Rooster. Usually, the allies of the Snake are the Ox and Rooster. The Rat will also have a good year and the Horse.

“The ones who will have challenges are those who were born in the year of the Dog because you’ll have misunderstandings, arguments, and infidelities. And the year of the Boar or the Pig because you are the enemy.”

Allen also mentioned that the Tiger and the Sheep “will also have some issues in terms of misfortunes.” Meanwhile, the Rabbit will also have a prosperity star like the Monkey. However, she said, “You will be visited with three types of misfortunes, so be careful.”

Allen reiterated that the Year of the Snake will bring obstacles. But she stressed that what she related were just guidelines.

One way to counter this is to do the feng shui of your house.

Allen shares her feng shui recommendations on her 2025 Almanac. She is also set to release a planner and a book that contain must-have guides to harnessing the positive energies of the coming Wood Snake Year. Allen is also arranging a special gathering to give more forecasts on November 17.
