Josefina Meneses, Businesswoman

Kasi meron akong small learning center. I do not depend on it. Talagang sinu-supervise ko, ano... with passion yung work.

Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Fashion Icon and Columnist

(When asked if she had always been lucky)

I’m not sure how you can really measure luck. Some people say that you’re lucky or unlucky. I think with luck it’s a matter of making the most of what you have. If you don’t expect too much, then things will come. I think with me since I’ve been an interior designer for almost 20 (?) years, I really incorporate interior design and feng shui with the different things I do. But then really, feng shui from the other aspect of it was introduced by you (Marites), thanks to my mom, who was supposed to be in the Extravaganza three years ago, and she said ‘I have two tickets here, please go for me then tell me what you learned and then I met you and as fate has it, Lillian was there and you convinced my mom to send me to Malaysia to take an intensive course and ever since I keep calling you, OK Marites, what’s the latest color I should wear.

Lynn Gerkens, Feng Shui expert from Netherlands

I was brought up with feng shui. My grandfather and my father taught me feng shui, but we weren’t into the issue of feng shui as it is on the commercial side. Our upbringing was very strict, very Chinese and very traditional.

Cristalle Henares, CEO Belo Essentials

(When asked if they have to do some feng shui preparations before opening a shop or clinic)

My mom and I believe a lot in energy, especially di ba in healing, you can use the energy through your palms. Even sa church when you try to heal or pray over someone, you use that energy. So we believe in energy and the flow of energy. And so, yes we consult a feng shui expert ...
