MARITES ALLEN 2014 FENG SHUI UPDATES
YEAR OF THE WOOD HORSE
Tochigi Grand Hotel, Tochigi City, Japan
IN the Year of the Water Dragon, the Illness Star, which is an Earth element, flies to the North and brings health afflictions to those whose bedrooms are located in that sector.
The negative energies of the Illness Star will greatly affect Rat-born people. Pregnant women and the elderly are advised to avoid staying or sleeping in the North sector in 2012. If the front door of your home is in the North, the negative chi will affect everyone living in the household.
Unlike last year when the Illness Star was in the South and brought a great deal of health woes to many people, its presence in the North will not be so strong. Still, everyone is advised to know his or her health forecast for the year and to take necessary precautions to quell the inauspicious energies.
RAT (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)
The year calls for you to lie low and be careful about your health, because your chi is not strong. You will tend to be exhausted, weak and uninspired. Keep things light and easy and shrug off minor inconveniences. Keep your mind rather than your body busy this year.
Be extra careful on the ninth month (Oct. 8 to Nov. 6, 2012) when the double illness star is strongest and makes you susceptible to every minor affliction.
Health luck most favorable for the Water Rat (40 years); least favorable for the Earth Rat (64 years).
• Have a brass Wu Lou in the north sector of the bedroom or living room.
• Wear gold jewelry in auspicious symbols to weaken the double illness star.
OX (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)
Your chi is much better this year compared to last year. Many will see an improvement in their health and may find time to indulge in some adventurous activities. Even with this good news, it still pays to be careful. This year is a period of transformation and the energies may change, so if you feel uneasy at times, the rule is “follow your instincts.”
You may feel a bit under the weather on the seventh month (Aug. 8 to Sept. 7, 2012) when the illness star makes an appearance on your chart. Try not to expose yourself to sick people and strengthen yourself with the right diet and exercises.
Health luck most favorable for the Water Ox (39 years); least favorable for the Earth Ox (63 years).
• Install a large Wu Lou in the Northeast part of the home or wear one in gold to strengthen your personal Metal energy.
• The elderly Ox should avoid staying in the Northeast sector especially on the 7th month.
TIGER (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)
Your health luck allows you to strongly avoid illnesses. The stars in your chart are supportive and do not cause health problems. It is only the 26-year-old Tiger who may have health issues and needs to be careful. Take precautions against possible food poisoning or catching airborne diseases.
The seventh month (Aug. 8 to Sept. 7, 2012) is a time to lie low because you are more accident prone or likely to get sick. Get enough rest and watch what you eat.
Health luck most favorable for the Metal Tiger (62 years); least favorable for the Fire Tiger (26 years).
• Elderly Tigers should avoid staying in the Northeast sector of the home.
• Wear the health amulet, especially the Wu Lou to protect you from sickness.
RABBIT (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011)
All types of Rabbits, with the exception of the 25-year-old Fire Rabbit, may expect a year with few serious health problems. The 61-year-old Metal Rabbit will have superior health luck and can look forward to an energetic year.
Illness and a weak body may take a toll on you on the second month (March 6 to April 4, 2012) when you may suddenly develop a backache. Accidents are also possible, so take proper precautions.
Health luck most favorable for the Metal Rabbit (61 years); least favorable for the Fire Rabbit (25 years).
• Avoid late nights and wear the longevity symbol near your body for protection.
• Elderly Rabbits should avoid sleeping or staying in the East sector of the home, especially on the 2nd month.
DRAGON (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)
The year can bring illness to the 48-year-old Wood Dragon, while the older or younger Dragons will have no major health issues. Dragons who belong to the East group should not face North as this sector is seriously afflicted by the illness star. Those who belong to the West group should not face Southwest and Northwest or sleep with your head pointing to these directions.
All Dragons should watch out in the months of April 2012 and January 2013 as you are most vulnerable during these periods.
Health luck most favorable for the Earth Dragon (24 years); least favorable for the Wood Dragon (48 years).
• Wear the Medicine Buddha moving mantra watch to guard against falling sick caused by viruses.
SNAKE (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001)
While all other Snakes remain fairly strong, the 47-year-old Wood Snake could suffer from ailments that could bring obstructions to work schedules. You need to specially subdue the illness star on the third month (April 5 to May 5, 2012) and on the 12th month (January 6 to February 3, 2013). You will tend to be weaker than usual during these periods, so make some time to relax and take care of your health.
Health luck most favorable for the Earth Snake (23 years); least favorable for the Wood Snake (47 years).
• Elderly Snakes should sleep with a Wu Lou by their bedside.
• Wearing a five-element pagoda in gold will also help to counter the negative energy in your chart on your bad months.
HORSE (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002)
The illness star in the North can be quite formidable, but for the Horse-born it should be avoided particularly on the eighth month (September 8 to October 7, 2012). You could suffer different forms of aches and pains during this period that could slow down your progress. Your immune system could be at risk, so take good care of your health as it could take you a long time to recover from even a minor illness.
Health luck is fairly good for most types of Horse-born people.
• Wear the anti-illness amulet medallion or the protective amulet to protect against physical illness.
• Avoid sleeping in the North sector, or if possible do not use a North-facing door this year.
SHEEP (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003)
For all Sheep-born people, February, August and November are the months when your health conditions are most vulnerable. It pays to know your individual good health directions. Remember that this year the Southeast is afflicted with the Five Yellow star which could bring serious ailments, among other things. Try to avoid sleeping with your head pointing to this direction.
Health luck most favorable for the Water Sheep (69 years); least favorable for the Earth Sheep (33 years).
• Wear the Medicine Buddha bracelet or moving mantra watch, which was specially made to protect wearer from getting sick.
MONKEY (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004)
You start the year with the illness star in your chart, so be mindful of your health on the first month (February 4 to March 5, 2012). For the rest of the year, the Feng Shui chart for the Monkey does not show any serious health threats.
Health luck most favorable for the Metal Monkey (32 years); least favorable for the Fire Monkey (56 years).
• The vase with healing nectar and the Wu Lou are ideal cures against the illness star, especially for the Fire Monkey.
• Wear the anti-illness amulet to ward off sickness vibes.
ROOSTER (1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005)
On the fifth month (June 6 – July 6, 2012), you may experience having difficulty getting good sleep. There’s too much going on in your mind, so try to do some calming exercises. Health problems follow you on the sixth month (July 7 – August 7, 2012) when the illness star enters your chart. Nothing too serious but still try to install the necessary cures.
Health luck most favorable for the Metal Rooster (31 years); least favorable for the Fire Rooster (55 years)
• Protect yourself with a Wu Lou by your bedside or wear an anti-illness amulet to ward off illness energies.
DOG (1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006)
Your health is most vulnerable in March, June and December so these are the months when you should take good care of yourself. In June, especially if you’re not careful, you may end up visiting a hospital. This month is characterized by accidents and poor health.
Health luck most favorable for the Earth Dog (54 years); least favorable for the Wood Dog (78 years).
• Wear the Medicine Buddha watch for health protection.
• Traveling is not a good idea in June, but if you don’t have a choice, carry the Buddha’s foot amulet with you.
BOAR (1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)
You may feel tired and lethargic on the 5th month (June 6-July 6, 2012). Your immune system is weak, so don’t take on too much work to avoid stress. This month is characterized by illness, accidents and misfortune, so try to lie low and do not schedule major events at this time.
Health luck most favorable for the Earth Boar (53 years); least favorable for the Wood Boar (77 and 17 years).
• Carry the anti-illness amulet or wear the Wu Lou for protection.
• Carry the Buddha’s foot amulet if you need to take long-distance travel.
